Safety Measures: Learn how to keep everyone safe while fishing.
Bait Selection: Explore the best bait options for fishing on Bald Head Island.

Tailored to Your Group
Designed for adult friend groups or families of up to five (two adults and up to three kids), this lesson is inclusive and stress-free. No prior experience is necessary, and we provide all the gear and setup, so you can focus on having fun and learning together.
The Weather Policy
A little rain won’t lower our spirits—fish love water, and so do we! We do actively monitor weather conditions throughout the lesson to ensure safety though. If lightning is detected within 10 miles or if there is torrential rain, we will stop fishing and leave beach. Please see our FAQ page for a more detailed weather policy.
Location
Lessons can be either inshore fishing (creek) or surf fishing (ocean), depending on your interests and preferences! Please let us know if you have questions or need advice about the best location for you.
Pricing
$275 per group (up to five adults OR up to two adults and three kids).
Important Note
If you’re over 16 and want to fish, you’ll need a North Carolina fishing license. Don’t have one? No worries—you’re welcome to join and participate in other aspects of the lesson.
